Adoption Shower

I love the stories of behind the cakes! This one was for a shower for a couple that was adopting an older little girl. In fact, they were still out of country finishing up the adoption process when their wonderful friends held the shower. The guests brought their presents unwrapped and then wrapped them at the shower. Plus everyone brought a book for the little girl in order to start her library in her new home. How wonderful is that!!

This cakes theme is the family's puzzle. In the box are the names of the older brothers plus mom and dad. With the missing piece being their new little girl! It turned out really cute and the parents were really surprised about the whole thing!
